The Leighton–Linslade Gala Orchestra was founded in February 2017. It brings together local musicians and provides an opportunity for orchestral playing whilst raising money for local charities. New players are always welcome if you are interested in taking part.

A short concert of past and present radio and television themes played by the full 40-piece Leighton–Linslade Gala Orchestra and joined by guest singing groups ‘Rising Voices’ and ‘Open Voices’.

The Leighton-Linslade Gala Orchestra is back for another Sunday afternoon orchestral concert. This time the music will consist of a wide selection of radio and TV themes, many very well known. The Orchestra will welcome back local choirs Rising Voices and Open Voices as its guests.
The concert will be raising funds for Keech Hospice, a local charity dedicated to ensuring that adults and children with life-limiting conditions receive the care and support they deserve. After the concert at about 4.45pm we are delighted members of St Barnabas Church will again be providing teas and a delicious selection of cakes with donations going to the Church.

Entry is by ticket £12 (under 18s £5, under 5s free) available online in advance (link below), tickets on the door subject to availability.
